Easter Egg Hunt DIY T-Shirt

Let’s make a DIY t-shirt for that upcoming Easter egg hunt! 

So I’ll be wearing a pretty dress for church and for brunch after… but if your Easter is ever like mine I have to hide eggs over and over… and over… and my heels won’t make it all afternoon. All this being said, I like to change into jeans and a fun t-shirt for the Easter egg hunt portion of my day. {wink}

You’ll only need a few things to craft this cute little DIY tee:

• T-shirt (mine came from Target)
• White vinyl
• Cricut Explore Air
• Cricut cutting mat
• Iron
• Cricut Design Space – Egg Hunt art

To make this easy Easter egg hunt t-shirt, you just:

1. Design – open this Cricut Design Space file. It’s sized for my t-shirt, but depending on the cut of your shirt you may want to lay your shirt flat, measure it across, divide it to find your center point, and determine if you’d like the image larger or smaller.
2. Mat – apply the iron on, liner side down, to mat
3. Cut – read the directions on the package, but make sure that you absolutely “Mirror-Image” your cut or you’ll need to look in a mirror to read it. {wink}
4. Weed – weed out all the iron-on that isn’t your image.
5. Iron – iron your shirt to heat up the fabric, place the image with liner on top, iron in 15 second intervals. Glitter takes a bit more heat to apply than regular iron-on so test. Also a good idea to flip the shirt and iron the back too just to make sure it’s all set. Take your time!
