Who’s having a back to school breakfast to kick off the new school year for their kiddos? Me too! Actually, I already did. I shared my simple apple cups. So cute and so easy! And now I’m sharing my idea for a simple apple plate. Perfect Back to School craft!
I whipped these up the morning of their breakfast. I was in a huge hurry, but I wanted the morning to be special. See, we started a new school this year. My oldest, heading into 5th grade, takes most everything in stride. He wasn’t nervous. Or, if he was he hid it very well. My little guy however, heading into 3rd grade, had the butterflies. Needless to say, I wanted to do anything to make him smile that morning.
So I grabbed some fun square red plates, brown scrapbook paper and a fun green polka dot paper made by Core’dinations. With the snip snip of a good pair of scissors and some glue dots, these cuties are ready to pile high with pancakes. And that is exactly what we did. I took some pics of the full table, but since they get up at 6:45 in the morning (yep…) no one wanted their picture taken. {wink}
