Decorate A Pirate Cake In 10 Minutes With Paper Crafts

Every little boy needs a pirate party and that means pirate cake. Yay! And while we’re going all out, let’s make it a pirate ship cake. I’ll admit that the pirate birthday cake decorating kit is a bit dear to my heart. I tried making my boys a candy pirate ship cake when they were little. After a ton of expense and time, they got a treasure chest cake instead! I love baking and decorating, but pirate ships are hard. Anything that tall out of cake and candies can not only be difficult to make, but difficult to move. I designed this paper craft cake topper for all those little boys with amazing moms that want the pirate birthday cake to be perfect, but just don’t have the time to pull out the sugar skills this year. {wink}

The Cake Decorating Kit:

My designs all start with the cake. We all love a beautiful cake for our parties, but they can be expensive if we buy them and they can take a ton of time if we decorate them! I say, let’s just embellish them with lovely paper crafts!

Each cake in my paper craft collection has a 3-D cake topper that is easily assembled, plus a cake wrapper. The wrapper is designed for multiple cake sizes and even works great on sheet cakes! I have to admit, that the wrappers make me a bit happy. I love the pop they give each cake, but I also LOVE that they hide any imperfections in the icing. {grin}

Plus, the cake decorating kit comes with a set of stickers so you can add your child’s age to the mast on the ship!
