Let’s make darling Jack-o-lantern pumpkin jars, Frankenstein jars, Ghost jars and more for that perfect Halloween party! These are super simple to make with the help of your Cricut!
You’ll need a few things to craft these fun Monster Candy Jars for Halloween:
- Cricut machine
- Glass bowls (Dollar Tree and Target)
- Glass glue
- Black vinyl
- Candle stick holders
- Candy (you may recognize my orange gumballs, green and white sixlets and mini marshmallows from my DIY monster cello bag treats post. They were left overs!

How To Add Candle Sticks

- Attach the candle stick holders with glue, allow to set
- Cut out the self-adhesive vinyl in simple shapes, and apply them to your bowls/jars
- Fill with candy, give them fun names on cute little cards (like Frankenstein bolts, ghost mist and pumpkin seeds) and serve

Thanks for sharing this tutorial. I ran right out to the dollar store and found all the stuff. My craft store didn’t have any vinyl so I’m going to improvise and use black electrical tape from the dollar store a well. We’ll see how that works. Thanks again!

I was wondering where I can find the self adhesive black vinyl. I went to Hobby Lobby and they said they don’t have it. Can you tell me what section of the store it might be in? Also, where can I find the orange gumballs … is that something I buy thru a company on the internet? ~j

Robin – sure you can! I used a cricut to cut out the circles/ovals, but the triangles and jack-o-lantern mouth I just freehanded. Thanks for stopping in!
