Easy Rice Krispies Bars

You’ve got to try my easy Easter Bunny Ear Rice Krispies Bars! The best part… I made them from the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats snack packs so I didn’t even dirty a dish. {grin}

Easy Easter Bunny Treats

You’ll need:

  • Bunny cookie cutter
  • Coconut
  • Candy hearts
  • Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats Snack Bars
  • Icing (I use Pillsbury Cream Cheese Icing)
  • Wilton icing bottles (or resealable bag with an icing tip)
  • Lollipop sticks

Rice Krispies Bars

The easy steps for making your own Easter Bunny Ear Rice Krispies Bars:

  1. Starting with a cooking cutter, cut your rice krispies bar. Depending on the depth of your cutter, trim off the excess with a knife
  2. Insert lollipop sticks (don’t wait to do this or you could break your icing design once it dries).
  3. Spoon icing into two icing bottles. Set one aside and heat one for eight seconds (reheat as needed, but 8 seconds will take it to a smooth liquid)
  4. Outline the ears with one bottle and fill the ear shape with the other, pulling icing to the edges with a toothpick if needed. Toothpicks are also great to pop any bubbles if necessary.
  5. Add a heart for the nose and a few sprigs of coconut for the whiskers. Allow to dry.

I displayed my Easter Bunny Ear Rice Krispies Bars in mini dessert jars filled with pink sixlets. Hope you like them! I know my kiddos did! {wink}
