For our Mother’s Day brunch yesterday I made this simple brownie recipe. I call them Brownie Bite Kisses! Ya know, Mother’s Day and kisses! {grin}
They were so yummy and couldn’t have been easier to make with my favorite brownie mix from Duncan Hines, the chewy fudge mix!
Those of you who know about my kiddos know that my youngest has food allergies and sometimes it’s really challenging to make anything “quick.” Thanks to Duncan Hines there are several dairy-free, nut-free and egg-free cake and brownie recipes that I can grab off the shelf and then just add my favorite ingredients to.
For this simple brownie recipe, you’ll need:
- Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge Brownie Mix (and added ingredients as the box directs)
- Jet Puffed Marshmallow Creme
- Hershey’s Kisses
- Mini baking cups
- Resealable plastic bag (for piping)
And for the easy steps:
- Prepare the batter
- Bake them in mini cupcake cups (fill 3/4 way)
- Spoon Marshmallow Crème into a resealable bag, trim off a corner, pipe a small dollup of crème. My best advise, no larger than a dime. The crème will expand and will drip if you pipe too much
- Allow the creme to expand and then top with a Hershey’s Kiss
- Tip for Food Allergy Sufferers ~ For my little guy I used his dairy-free chocolate drops (you can find them at Trader Joe’s or Divvies, both brands are fabulous!)
As always, I hope you’re inspired to craft, bake, create and celebrate!
