Football season is in full swing around here and tailgating is a must! If we can’t get down to the stadium for the big game, we can still celebrate and eat… my favorite part… right here at home. {wink} This week I made fun little football popcorn bags for all of us!
This craft literally took me 5 minutes in Cricut Design Space to decide what I wanted to make, and about 2 minutes per bag for my Cricut Explore Air to draw the design. Check it out!
To make these easy tailgate popcorn favor bags you’ll need:
- Cricut Explore
- Cutting mat
- Black pens
- White lunch bags
- Tape
Super easy steps:
- Design – open Design Space and use this file or customize and make your own.
- Lunch bag – tape edges of bags to mat. The mat is sticky enough to hold the bag, but because of it’s bulk the edge could get caught.
- Insert pen – the new pen set gives you lots of options, I used the medium tip.
That’s it! Easy as one-two-three.
You can fill these darling popcorn bags with fun and creative popcorn recipes, like:
Rice Krispies Treats & MMs Trail Mix
Or, do you love bacon? I made a really yummy bacon and chocolate popcorn recipe for a super bowl party a few years back. Oh wow is it good!
No bacon… okay, try this amazing… and I mean amazing in the scope of addicting, Chocolate Sea Salt & FunMallows popcorn recipe!
I whipped up a few more crafts this week and I’m sharing them over on the Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores blog, The Creative Spark. Hop over and have a look at my DIY black and white cake plate and two fun cake toppers. {grin}
As always, thanks for hanging out with me. I hope you’re inspired to craft, bake, create and celebrate!
