Make your windows a little spooky this Halloween with simple monster eyes Halloween window decorations!
This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Cottonelle, but all my opinions are my own.
My family hosts an annual Halloween party every year, the Byers Family Boo Bash! {grin} And this year my boys are finally old enough to help me decorate. And with them being old enough to help, that also means they have their own ideas!
With 15 giggling kiddos coming over, my boys wanted to decorate their tree house to be a bit spooky. Nothing too creepy… but just enough to get a “eeek!” out of their friends! There is a flip up, hatch-type window, on the front so the boys made a Monster Eye Window. It was super easy and a big hit with the kiddos!
To make monster eye windows this Halloween, you’ll need:
-
Roll or two of Cottonelle Triple Roll (I’ve even got a Cottonelle coupon for you! Buy Cottonelle Triple Roll 12-pack or larger and get a FREE box of Kleenex while supplies last.)
- 2 Sheets of Black Cardstock
- 2 Nails and Hammer (or tape if you’re covering a real window)
And here are the three easy steps:
- Cut two large circles out of cardstock.
- Nail to window, or tape if glass.
- Wrap with toilet paper (tape at each side if you can’t wrap around).
In addition to the monster eyes, we also had a mummy wrap game during the party. Sadly, it was a bit too dark to get good pics, these were taken with my iPhone, but it was a riot! Just have the kids pair up and choose who is going to wrap and who is going to be wrapped. Then, starting at the legs, ready-set-go and wrap to the top. The first to finish without the toilet paper breaking wins!
AND, we had a “Bowling for Witches” game. I’ll be posting about it next and it will include FREE printables!
