I’m so very blessed to have an amazing mom. She has been there through ups… downs… and sideways… {grin} And now with Mother’s Day just a few short weeks away, I wanted to build the perfect gift basket for her.

We’re southern and food is our language of love, so I decided to build a basket full of baking tools and goodies from World Market, plus some lovely personalized treasures from Shutterfly. Not only will she love it, I bet she bakes me something! {wink}

In addition to all the goodies in the basket to help mom bake, the kiddos and I thought we should kick start her gift and bake something for her. I fell in love with this lovely aqua blue jar and don’t you know that World Market had the perfect whisk shaped favor tags to go with it!
We baked, stacked the cooled cookies in cupcake liners, sealed the jar and tied it with a sweet message from my boys. I mean, what grandma doesn’t love to see her grandkids’ handwriting on her gift.
