I love decorating for every season and almost every holiday, and one of the easiest ways is with decorative throw pillows!  My tutorial for two decorative pillow covers will make you fall in love with your Valentine’s decorating! {wink}

How To Make Pillow Covers With Invisible Zippers | @kimbyers

My home (walls and furniture) is very neutral in grays and whites, so I add my pops of color in my decor: throw pillows, wall prints, curtains and dishes.

In a recent post with JoAnn Fabric And Craft Stores new blog, The Creative Spark, I share how to make easy decorative pillow covers with piping and invisible zippers. I buy the pillow inserts in several different shapes and sizes and then just make covers to match my holiday decor. The covers are much easier to store than whole pillows and it’s much less expensive too.

Hop over to The Creative Spark for the easy step-by-step tutorial and lots of pictures. You can also see my most recent post for a lovely DIY no-sew ruffle wreath and bunting perfect to dress up your home for Valentines!

Make sure to also check out my Faux Cross Stitch XOXO Cake Topper and my Simple Fabric Ruffle Wreath.

As always, I hope you’re inspired to craft, bake, create and celebrate!
