Have you seen the plastic spoon crafts? Probably the circle mirrors? Well I made these fun plastic spoon Christmas trees for a project with HGTV and JoAnn Fabric and Craft Stores.
I whipped these up for a rustic winter wonderland mantel. Super easy to make.
You’ll need:
- Styrofoam cones
- Kraft paper
- White spoons
- Snips
- Hot glue gun
- Optional: Towel to catch the plastic flecks when you cut the heads off the spoons
Easy steps
- Snip heads off spoons, you’ll need 30 or so for a 12″ cone
- Wrap foam cones with kraft paper and close with a bead of hot glue
- Starting at the top (because you want to be able to hide tips), and in a circular pattern, start hot gluing spoons onto cone.
