Who’s ready for some football! We are a football loving family and how better to get the excitement for the big game brewing than a little tailgating. Hebrew National beef frank hot dogs with all the fixins, cute football cupcakes, salty snacks… we just can’t get enough!

So let’s talk tailgating! Want to create a simple and fun tailgating spread? You’ll need:
- Hebrew National franks (we like the Jumbo!),
- top slice coney buns (they’re our fave)
- Hunt’s Tomato Ketchup (we like the 100% natural)
- Gilden’s Mustard (we like the spicy brown)
- salty snacks (like chips and crackers)
- sweet snacks (like cupcakes!!)
For the table decor, here’s what I used:
- black & white stripe napkins inside coffee filters (easy clean-up and inexpensive)
- strip of indoor/outdoor “grass” carpet
- plastic cups for condiments and plastic forks wrapped with washi tape
- football ticket for food labels (handmade)
Little tailgating tip, keep your buns warm! We live in Ohio and although your frank is hot off the grill, a warm bun makes it all the yummier when you’re freezing! {wink}
And once you have the best cuts of meat and the right “fixins,” round your table out with salty and sweet complements. I’ll share how to make these fun football field goal cupcakes, and give you the football printables, in my next post.
