Caramel Popcorn Recipe Made For Sharing

Do you love popcorn? Us too. I air-pop popcorn about three times a week and I often mix it up with caramel, chocolate and other goodies tossed in. Want a super easy caramel popcorn recipe?

The making of caramel sauce is easy and actually a little fun. The kids can even help. Just be careful that they don’t pop the bag while shaking it on the popcorn… I may or may not have made a mess when I was testing recipes. {grin}

You’ll need only a few ingredients to make this amazing popcorn recipe, perfect for a movie night or spring gathering:

• 1 pkg. (8 oz.) JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
• 10 cups air popped popcorn
• 1 pkg. (11 oz.) KRAFT Caramel Bits
• 1 tbsp. water
• 1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate covered almonds, pastel candy coating
• Large resealable plastic bag

Easy steps:

1. Air pop 10 cups of plain popcorn.
2. Melt package of KRAFT Caramel Bits in the microwave. Place in a glass bowl, add water, microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring at 1 minute intervals until completely melted.
3. Place 1/3 popcorn in gallon size resealable bag, drizzle 1/3 carmel over popcorn, seal and shake. Repeat.
4. Spread popcorn on sheet of wax paper and allow to cool.
5. In a large bowl, toss popcorn, JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows and almonds.

Recipe yield: 20 servings | Serving size: ½ cup | Prep time: 20 minutes | Cook time: 5 minutes | Total time: 25 minutes
