Need Valentine mailbox ideas for your child’s class party? Want it to be a fun kid craft… instead of a mommy craft? My little guy made his Valentine mailbox today out of a tissue box. He chose to make a bear. His nickname is bear… and fittingly he was wearing his “bearly asleep” pjs. Not planned I promise! He just loves them. {grin}
Super easy how to make a Valentine mailbox supplies and instructions:
- Tissue box
- 2 tones of brown cardstock
- black cardstock
- brown pom for tail
- glue
- adhesive dots (if you want the nose to appear raised)
- 1″ circle punch
- 2″ circle punch
And steps:
- Cut a large circle for the head out of brown cardstock. We just used a bowl as a template. I know… super crafty. {smirk}
- Punch two small light brown 1″ circles for the ears and three black for the eyes and nose
- Punch one light brown 2″ circle for the nose
- Attach ears and eyes with glue
- Attach nose with adhesive dots for raised effect, or just glue. Cute both ways.
- Attach face and tail with a dot or two of hot glue.
