Easy DIY Easter Egg Balloons

These amazing Easter egg balloons from Balloon Time and Studio DIY are just darling. So simple and creative. I’m in love! So when Balloon Time asked if I wanted to share, it was an easy yes! ;)

Easy DIY Easter Egg Balloons from Balloon Time

Here’s what you’ll need to make this easy DIY Easter Egg Balloon Craft:

  • 9” or 11” Latex Balloons
  • Balloon Time Helium Tank
  • Acrylic or Craft Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • String, Ribbon or Twine
  • Clear Shipping Tape

Easy instructions:

  1. Inflate balloons using your Balloon Time Helium Tank and temporarily tie a loose knot to the tail so they don’t slip away.
  2. Flip your balloon over so it looks like an egg shape, and use your paintbrush and acrylic paint to paint your favorite Easter egg designs on them. Use enough paint to get even coverage, without it being too thick. (You don’t want to weigh down your balloon.) Then let dry.
  3. Once dry, carefully untie the string from the tail and use a small piece of shipping tape to adhere the string to the “top” of the balloon, which will now become the bottom. Done! Tip: Do not try to remove the tape once it is on there or the balloon might pop.

Hop over to Balloon Time for more photos and more ideas! And as always, I hope you’re inspired to craft, bake, create and celebrate!
