I can’t believe that summer is winding down and it’s almost football season. So in honor of this American pastime, I thought I would throw {giggle} a little inspiration your way for your next tailgate or game day celebration!
First, I love the simplicity of the football cupcake. The grass is just a Wilton grass tip (#233) and the football is just a #3 or #4 tip. (Use freezer weight resealable bags with connectors for easy cleanup.)
And the centerpiece is a very smart idea from InStyle Magazine’s InStyle Parties. It’s just a flat of wheatgrass, which you can find at your local florist, and miniature plastic football players and goal posts. (My boys have a set!)
