I’m Getting Organized {Technically Speaking} for 2014

I love technology. I also love pretty papers. I know… it’s a problem.

In 2014 I’m not giving up my pretty papers, or my crazy sticky notes all together, but I am committed to getting a bit more organized electronically. We moms and business owners are constantly on the go and since I can’t take everything with me when I travel, or to the car pool line, or while I wait at the doctor’s office… I need to use what I do take with me everywhere I go more.

These are a few of the basics that are going to help me get there!

Getting Organized, Technically Speaking with Kim Byers

  1. iPad – First of all, my sweet mom gave me a new iPad 4 as a surprise Christmas gift. I was totally shocked. She’s so sneaky.
  2. Snugg iPad case – these cases are classy and a perfect fit! I mean perfect! I feel professional when I walk into a meeting and it feels comfortable in my hands. Plus, I can swap my silver/gray (which I LOVE!) out for a “fun” color when the mood strikes. {wink}
  3. Awesome Note – I’ve searched high and low and tested many… many… many {sigh} productivity apps. None had all the items I needed. To do lists, notes for projects, pictures and drawing (because sometimes I just like to sketch an idea down). This app allows me to do all those things on my iPad and on my iPhone. In my opinion, it is truly awesome!
  4. Studio 53 app – for all my creative wants and needs with endless paper and separate journals for each idea if I have… which is a ton. {grin}

I’m testing a few more things and if they prove to really help me stay organized and on task, I’ll share them with you. I wish you all a happy, healthy and PRODUCTIVE 2014!
