introducing slumber party

I’m very excited to introduce our newest custom invitation, thank you and printable collection: slumber party. Using bright pinks, blues, greens, oranges and even brown, we created a fun and chic collection that even includes all the components to host a beautiful candy table. Something I’m certain would help make any slumber party a success. Mom might be a little wary of the sugar highs, but let’s face it, the girls are going to spend the entire night giggling anyway so why not let them indulge. {wink}

Here’s a look at several of the candy table labels. There are eight pre-filled labels (in addition to the ones above, there is also “jelly beans,” “soda,” and “cookies”) and a blank sheet of labels in the collection.

We’ve also created an adorable banner to hang over the candy table (or anywhere else). I loved putting this one together because it is so simple: trim out the design, thread the banner blocks with a beautiful grosgrain ribbon and hang. And for the backdrop, we actually used the same hot pink/fuchsia tablecloth as the candy table (available in the collection).

As for tableware, we’ve paired the collection with two placesettings, our pink and lime green polka dot plates and our Serengeti brown and white print.

Here are the napkin rings we designed to go with the pink and lime green table decor.

And here are the napkin rings (loving the flip-flop!) that we designed to go with the Serengeti table decor.

As always, we’ve designed cupcake wrappers and picks that coordinate with the decor and save you from slaving over a three tier cake if you don’t want to. This time we chose the phrase “SLUMBER PARTY!” and flip-flops for the picks, pairing them with a hot pink and white Serengeti print wrapper.

Here’s another shot of the flip-flop cupcake.

And no worries about favors; we have you covered with cello bag toppers,

candy bar favor wrappers, and

favor tags in case you want to go beyond sweets and give your guests their own pedi kit or sleep mask.

We also designed straw slips in the six patterns found in the invitation (so no one has to worry about losing their soda pop).

I’ll leave you with a few tips on how to set up your own candy table.

  • First, think symmetry; have two or four of everything.
  • Second, popcorn cones are super easy if you use a little hot glue to close the cardstock {wink} and have a hubby nice enough to drill a few holes in a board for you (cover the board in a beautiful wrapping paper, insert lollipop sticks to hold up your cones and you’re in business).
  • Third, use sheets of cardstock in the place of serving platters (a cheap way to make sure your table colors are consistent), but make sure you have extra on hand when you replenish your table because sometimes your treats will leave a stain on the paper.
  • Finally, use lots of color in your candy and visit your local bulk candy shoppes for the best deals.

As always, I hope you’re inspired by our new slumber party collection.
