My friend Hilary came up with this brilliant and quick idea for decorated turkey cookies. She brought these lovely little treats to my son’s class Thanksgiving feast last week. I instantly fell in love with this quick and easy fun Thanksgiving treat!
You know those Pillsbury sugar cookies with the fun images on them?! Yep. These are one in the same with a few little additions. The best part, they’re as easy as 1-2-3!
- First, bake your cookies and allow them to cool (I love that the cookies are already pre-cut for me!)
- Now take two cookies and some chocolate frosting, make sandwich cookies (with turkeys facing out moms)
- Finally roll the edges of your cookies in autumn mix sprinkles
Waalaa! Super easy and super clever, right?
