When I was a kid we never used plastic eggs for Easter. Never. With my kiddos I’m a bit nostalgic and we dye and paint real eggs. However, we’re not opposed to a few candy filled plastic eggs! But we do like to doll them up a bit. {grin}
To make chalkboard paint Easter eggs, you only need three things:
- Chalkboard paint (I used Krylon Chalkboard Paint)
- Plastic Easter eggs
- Chalk (or, if you can’t find thin chalk you can use a washable white Crayola Crayon)
I chose to only paint one half of the egg so that they would still be colorful.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter holiday! And as always, I hope you’re inspired to craft, bake, create and celebrate!
