Easy steps:
- Arrange 23 Rice Krispies Treats starting at the bottom: 3 – 2 – 6 – 6 – 6. Trim the tree into a shape using the images as a guide and a sharp knife. Remember, trees aren’t round and they aren’t square. Tip: Create your masterpiece on wax paper. And to keep the paper from slipping, use small glue dots to hold it in place.
- Melt brown chocolate in a small microwave safe bowl for 10 seconds, stirring and reheating until the chocolate is melted. Paint the tree trunk.
- Melt red, yellow and orange in small microwave safe bowls for 10 seconds, stirring and reheating until the chocolate is melted. Paint leaves in yellow multiple colors to show fall.
- Using a rolling pin, roll one treat out at a time and press a buttered cookie cutter into the rectangle to cut out the shape of a leaf.
- Melt more red or brown chocolate, spoon it into a resealable plastic bag, snip one corner and write what you’re most grateful for!
