You’re A Gem Card Making Idea

I have a real love for paper crafts (if it’s not obvious!) and today I’m sharing a super fun card making idea that I whipped up for my new cartridge with Cricut. Do you like diamonds? {grin} Every single girl does, right?! Well you’re going to love my “You’re A Gem!” crafting elements perfect for making cards, cake toppers, DIY T-Shirts and more.

Isn’t the card fun! The card base has a diamond border, and of course with Cricut all of those intricate little cuts are a breeze.

After cutting the base diamond trim from white cardstock (or pink or blue would be darling), you can use the Cricut print and cut feature for the gems and the “You’re A Gem” typography. I layered them onto the card with small glue dots and foam adhesive squares to give the card dimension.

In addition to the print and cut designs, I also have the cut file in Cricut for the typography so you can use it in any color you like, or with any medium (e.g., vellum, wood, leather, foam) you’d like. Hop over to Cricut and have a look at all the elements.
