I just created this DIY “Wash Dry Fold Repeat” vinyl wall decal for my laundry room. It’s inexpensive, easy to cut and apply, comes in a range of colors and you don’t feel guilty swapping it out when you get tired of it. {wink} Want to make one too?
I shared my clothespin craft yesterday, along with my folding table. I don’t know about you, but I have to have a folding table in the laundry. I had a house once where the laundry was so small we had to fold laundry on the kitchen table… that was awful. Thankfully my hubby customized the tiny little room to have a shelf.
Okay, let’s update your laundry room in 30 minutes flat. Ready?!
You’ll need a few craft supplies to make this laundry room wall decal:
- Cricut Black Vinyl
- Cricut Gold Glitter Vinyl
- Cricut Transfer Tape
- Cricut Explore™ machine
- Cricut Design Space™ software (iPad app, iPhone app or Desktop), my Wash Dry Fold Repeat project
- 12”x12” Standard Grip Cricut® mat
- Cricut Weeding Tool
Easy DIY steps for making wall decals:
- Measure – determine how large you’d like the design.
- Design Space – use my project to resize and cut your vinyl. Cut black first.
- Weed – weed out excess vinyl.
- Transfer tape – apply transfer tape to vinyl and carefully peel back. Place lightly on wall and repeat the process to cut the gold.
- Finish – measure and remeasure to make sure your designs are straight. Use a scraper (straight edge) to apply the design to the wall, pushing out any small bubbles. Remove transfer tape carefully.
Looking for other wall decal or vinyl projects to make with your Cricut? I have oh so many! {wink}

As always, I hope you’re inspired to craft, bake, create and celebrate!
