Donuts are perfect for every occasion, right?! Especially when they’re pink. I mean… pink donuts… does it get any better for a Valentine brunch. {wink}
Valentine’s Day this year is on Sunday so we’re planning a leisurely brunch just after church. I’m talking omelets, donuts, juice and coffee. Simple and perfect. Okay… and maybe bacon. {grin}
Do you have a dome cake plate? This is my first since I got one at my wedding… a few years back {wink} and for a woman that loves a great cake plate… I can’t believe I waited so long to get another. There is something about trapping the beauty of a sweet behind glass. And then when you raise the lid to get said sweet, you’re almost knocked down by that fresh baked aroma. It might just be what heaven smells like!
I’d love to tell you I made these darling little donuts, but I didn’t. I did however drive to Krispy Kreme and pick out the prettiest ones. That counts for something right?
Oh, I did add these cute little XOXO candies though, so you could call these a DIY. {wink} I love an easy craft, don’t you!
