Starburst are my youngest son’s favorite candy right now. You all remember that he has severe food allergies, right? Well, he can’t have any dairy, which means no milk chocolate, and he can’t have nuts. Soooo… I whipped up a quick paper craft design that he could share with his friends at his Valentine’s Day class party.
There are some cute Starburst class Valentines out there, but they’re all “girly.” {wink} He asked me to make something that wouldn’t embarrass him. So no “You make me starry eyed,” or “I’m star struck over you.” You know… gushy Valentine stuff.
Alas, we came up with “You Make Me Burst With Laughter” and he’s happy. If you have a boy that doesn’t want to be embarrassed by the sticky sweet girly sayings floating around this Valentine, make sure you download our FREE Printable Class Valentines.
These class Valentines are super simple to craft. You’ll need:
- Starburst FREE Printable (below)
- Straight edge cutter or scissors (I actually used both)
- Elmer’s Glue Dots
- Cardstock or for a glossier finish, photo paper
- Sharpie Pen (to sign)
- Starburst
Super simple how to steps:
- Download the file and print. I placed them two-up to a page.
- Trim out each design. Notice that the star comes off the page.
- Attach starburst with glue dots.
- Sign name.
It’s as simple as that!
