Introducing The New Cricut Explore Air 2

If you’re a Cricut crafter, then you’ve likely already heard there is a new Cricut Explore Air coming! {giddy} You might have even grabbed one on HSN last week. Well I’m in NYC this week with Cricut for a Media Mixer Event sharing this amazing machine with over 40 media outlets getting prepped for the big release in stores and on Cricut.com on October 21st. If you’ve not taken the Cricut plunge yet, now is the time. The holidays are coming and this machine just got faster! I never dreamed it would get faster… but it has… by almost 2X! {wow}

Not only is the new Cricut Explore Air 2 faster on several materials, but there are three pretty new pastel colors: mint, rose and glacier blue. You can also still get the Anna Griffin gold {love!}.

In addition to being fast, the Cricut Explore Air 2 cuts over 100 materials from vellum to thick leather, from birch wood to metal. If you can dream it, the Cricut Explore Air 2 can cut it.

And have you heard about the new features that are available with all the Cricut Explore Air machines. The Snap Mat is one of the newest. I love it because you can snap a screenshot of your mat and Design Space will make the best use of your paper even if it’s some odd “leftover” paper shape. Genius!

You can also now design literally anywhere on or off WiFi! If you’re somewhere without a connection, just save it to your device and then cut it when you get home. Design Space will give you the choice of saving your project to the Cloud or to your Device. I love it because I prefer to use my iPad for most projects and it needs wifi because I don’t have it tethered to my phone.
