Make A New Year’s Eve “Best Year Ever” Tee In Just Minutes

I made this “Best Year Ever” glitter iron-on T-shirt in less than 10 minutes. Want one for New Year’s Eve or just for fun! Let’s get crafty!

To make this sweet little glitter tee, you only need a few things:

• Gold glitter iron-on, Cricut
• Black tee, Target (they have long sleeve too!)
• Cricut Explore Air
• Standard Grip Cricut cutting mat
• Iron
• Design Space graphic – BEST YEAR EVER designed by my talented friend Kim of The TOMKAT Studio
• Optional: Weeding tool

Whip this New Year’s Eve t-shirt up in less than 10 minutes with these easy steps:

• Design – open this Cricut Design Space file. It’s sized for my t-shirt, but depending on the cut of your shirt you may want to lay your shirt flat, measure it across, divide it to find your center point, and determine if you’d like the image larger or smaller.
• Mat – apply the glitter iron on, liner side down, to mat
• Cut – read the directions on the package, but make sure that you absolutely “Mirror-Image” your cut or you’ll need to look in a mirror to read it. {wink}
• Weed – weed out all the glitter iron-on that isn’t your image.
• Iron – iron your shirt to heat up the fabric, place the image with liner on top, iron in 15 second intervals. Only takes a few swipes! Also a good idea to flip the shirt and iron the back too just to make sure it’s all set.

It’s that easy!
