Let’s make an easy DIY bunny ear chenille headband perfect for Easter!
Easter is just around the corner and I have darling little nieces that need a gift from their Aunt Kim. :) I wanted to make something fun for them to wear during our annual Easter egg hunt. Of course I was running low on time like usual so I went with this super easy Easter craft!
These bunny ear chenille headbands come together in less than two minutes!
Each year the entire family, young and old, comes together after church service for a big meal and Easter egg hunt. My sweet aunt hosts every year. She has an amazing yard with more flowers than the local nursery. All the colors of the blooms make for great places to hide eggs.
We have a few older kids that participate too so we hid some high and difficult to find. The dads get that honor and get a big kick out of it.
For the littles though we make it easy with lots of eggs in the grass and on the edge of the flower rows. These sweet little bunny ear headbands will make for darling pictures when they’re out roaming around collecting their treasures.
Let’s make one or four of these darling little bunny ear headbands!
Supplies For Chenille Bunny Ear Headband
- Metal headband (Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores has $1 headbands covered in gray ribbon… perfect!),
- Darice Chenille Stems,
- Scissors, and
- Super cute little girl to wear them!
Easy Tutorial For Chenille Bunny Ear Headband
- Wrap – start at one end and wrap one stem. The metal interior holds them in place perfectly.
- Ears – band two stems in the middle and attach to the top of headband. I chose to bend one ear. {wink}
- Wrap – finish wrapping with Chenille and cut off excess at the end.
